Stumptown coffee will be in Chapters serving complimentary pour overs utilizing the Bee House. We will be serving complimentary doughnut holes. During this they will be talking about the different types of manual brewing methods and their benefits.

GFU student Sarah Granberg will be here selling ceramic art to fundraise a study abroad trip to South Korea.
Also, Chris Oliveira will be here showcasing his MBA project: Decimo Coffee Roasters. Decimo is a community driven micro-roaster that donates 10% of their proceeds to local charities.

Santa Claus is coming to town, and he's stopping by Chapters Saturday morning for a photo-op with the children (or adults) of the town. If you need to tell Santa what you want for Christmas, but hate the hassle and expense of sending a letter all the way to the North Pole, then come to Chapters so you can tell him in person.
Join the Newberg Brass for First Friday at Chapters Books and Coffee. They'll present a variety of your favorite Brass music, including Columbia the Gem of the Ocean, Tribute to Frank Sinatra, and several Scott Joplin Rags.
Music starts at 6:30 pm.
Chapters closes at 9:00 pm.
This Friday is the Newberg Downtown First Friday Art Walk for June. Downtown stores will be featuring music and art and other extravagant surprises.
Here at Chapters we will be open until 9:00 PM. There will be four authors with copies of their books for signing: Kelly Cook, Lon Cole, C. Wess Daniels, and Phil Smith!
Art Walk activities begin at 5:00 PM.
Nathalie Hardy, local newspaper columnist, will be on hand (with bonbons!) to sign copies of her book Raising the Hardy Boys. Shelley Houston will be selling and signing her books: Julie, Coming Home, and Allister. George Edmunson, author of Tales From The Grubby End about the colorful history of Newberg, will also be selling his book and able to sign copies and answer questions.
