Santa Claus is coming to town, and he's stopping by Chapters Saturday morning for a photo-op with the children (or adults) of the town. If you need to tell Santa what you want for Christmas, but hate the hassle and expense of sending a letter all the way to the North Pole, then come to Chapters so you can tell him in person.
The Newberg Brass will be here playing some Christmas tunes and George Edmonston Jr. (author of Newberg: Stories from the Grubby End) will be signing and selling copies of his book. Join us for music, fun, and coffee!
Shop local Black Friday and Small Business Saturday and you can enter to win a raffle for a gift basket with certificates, products, and goods from downtown vendors! The more places you shop the better chance you have of winning.

Join the Newberg Brass for First Friday at Chapters Books and Coffee. They'll present a variety of your favorite Brass music, including Columbia the Gem of the Ocean, Tribute to Frank Sinatra, and several Scott Joplin Rags.
Music starts at 6:30 pm.
Chapters closes at 9:00 pm.
On August 3rd we will be returning to our normally scheduled hours: Mon-Fri 6:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sat & Sun 8:00 am - 7:00 pm.

This Friday is the Newberg Downtown First Friday Art Walk for June. Downtown stores will be featuring music and art and other extravagant surprises.
Here at Chapters we will be open until 9:00 PM. There will be four authors with copies of their books for signing: Kelly Cook, Lon Cole, C. Wess Daniels, and Phil Smith!
Art Walk activities begin at 5:00 PM.
We're open on Memorial Day but only from 8:00 to 5:00!
Nathalie Hardy, local newspaper columnist, will be on hand (with bonbons!) to sign copies of her book Raising the Hardy Boys. Shelley Houston will be selling and signing her books: Julie, Coming Home, and Allister. George Edmunson, author of Tales From The Grubby End about the colorful history of Newberg, will also be selling his book and able to sign copies and answer questions.
